Once in a while I see a request for a simple triangular shawl in facebook groups. A little while back I gave a simple triangle scarf a try and of course I never finished it but that does not stop people from asking for a pattern.
So I decided to write it down AAANDD ~~~ i've decided to challenge myself so with a bit off luck i'll be adding parts to this pattern so you can mix and mash to get your own triangle shawl with multiple patterns.
Let's start with the first and most difficult part.
required stuff to make it:
You're going to need yarn, stitchmarkers. (at least 2) and needles, I prefer circulars but you could use straights.
So what yarn and which size needles will you need? well that depends completely on YOU.
I always prefer Scheepjes whirls and catona but any yarn will do. As for the size needles. Grab the yarnband and pick one of the recommended sizes. (I mostly use the smallest)
So here it is part one!
And as an added bonus you can choose between Stockinette and garter 😉
Stockinette
Let me warn you by telling you that this pattern WILL curl because of the nature of the stitch if you want a stockinette shawl that does not curl (or only minimally I recommend option 3 which will be typed soon).
